Q:What are the benifits of buying and selling a graded action figure?

A:When you purchase a graded figure you can rest assured that the item has been professionally examined for flaws and noticable defects which will be presented if any in the items subgrades and then reflected in its overall average grade. Graded action figures typically sell faster (on Ebay) and bring a higher value than an ungraded similar action figure. Graded action figures that are of collectors quality (graded 80-100) are more desirable and maintain a higher value in the market place. » Top

Q: What does MOC mean?

A:There are many terms in the collectors market place. MOC typically stands for MINT ON CARD or MANUFACTURERS ORIGINAL CONTAINER. TGA inspectors are happy to receive Emails and resolve any questions about terms, slangs or abbreviations that you may encounter.» Top

Q: How much does it cost to grade an action figure?

A:The cost for grading and casing action figures varies depending on the size and type. The TGA website will help guide you through the easy process of submitting figures for grading. » Top

Q: What are the upgrades in case selections?

A:The UV case upgrade is an ultra violet case protection (protection from sun glare).The Houdini case upgrade is a special case which includes two hinges and a locking clasp with master lock and key set. This case is perminantly sealed and is a very unique way to display your collectible.» Top

Q: What is an overgraded action figure?

A:Overgrading is a result of improper inspections. An overgraded action figure often receives a higher grade then it should have. When action figures are professionally graded and cased the overgrading factor is minimal. TGA runs all submissions through a strict 36 point inspection to help eliminate the potential of overgrading.» Top

Q: What are the office hours for Toy Graders Association, Ltd.?

A:TGA is open Mon.-Fri. from 10:00AM to 6:00PM Eastern Standard Time. During high volume weeks TGA inspectors will work nights and weekends to keep customers satisfied with delivery dates. » Top

Q: Does TGA accept walk-ins and drop offs?

A:Email or call to speak with a TGA inpector and arrange for a meeting. TGA inspectors do travel and will arrange to meet at a convienant location that is fair for both parties for drop offs or meetings.» Top
